“Ukrainian project of fruit-growing business development”
In the period from September 18 to 21, 2016, leading experts of the Israeli Center for International Cooperation MASHAV (MASHAV), within the framework of the Ukrainian project for the business development of fruit-growing, visited the Nikolaev region. The program of the visit included consultations and a seminar on the theme “Innovative irrigation technologies and fertilizers”.
MASHAV Center was founded in 1958. One of the main objectives of the center is the development of agriculture. Educational courses and MASHAV programs are prepared by specialists from many countries, and company employees are involved in the development of innovative agro-industrial projects around the world. The organization does not limit its activities to a small number of target countries. Attention is focused on areas of knowledge, rather than geographical areas.
On September 21, 2016, in the unofficial part of the visit, Israeli specialists visited the Nikolaev agro-industrial company “Cinta”. The guests got acquainted with the company’s products – organic-mineral mixtures “Greenodin”, with the unique properties of mixtures. The center specialists were provided with product samples for further study and experimental use in the Israeli climate conditions. Given the basic properties of “Greenodin”, such as improving soil fertility, stimulating development and growth, reducing water consumption for irrigation by up to 45%, the mixtures are optimal for use in hot and arid climates.
